Stern.de does pLog

Alex wrote to inform us that German media group Stern has launched a blogging service for their journalists based on pLog at Stern Blogs. Stern joins the growing group of well-known German sites that are using pLog for their blogging service such as the FDP site, Gamestar or the Axel Springer group.

Stern.de seem to be using a slightly customized version of pLog, but this is just another example of how powerful and flexible the pLog architecture is, and how blogs (and pLog!) have become a suitable choice for on-line journalism. We wish Stern success!

pLog in the biggest German publishing group

Axel Springer

These announcements reinforce pLog's position not only as the best tool for on-line blogging communities but also, as a great alternative for publishing and on-line journalism. (via pLogWorld.de)

It is also worth noting that VG.net has expanded their blogs section with three new blogs: Universet, daehli and kommentar.

The German PHP Magazin has published an article with the headline "Blog software pLog scores additional successes". This article informs about the release of the new version of pLog in april in connection with the success story from Verdens Gang (links to the VG blogs included).
